Blog Post 10 Something you will never forget
A memory of mine that I will never forget is my relationships with my friends. I have had so many great relationships with my friends. To me that is something I cherish. I figure the reason why adults seem to have forgotten it is because they do not seem to care about past relationships. To them it is almost as if what happened in the past is forgotten and never to be seen. As for me any relationship I build with a person I can never forget.
Blog Post 9 what I would teach the class
If i was given five minutes of class time to teach I would teach the class how to make a dessert that my mother makes, it is called Mango mousse. It is one of the most delicious desserts I have ever had in my life.
Blog Post 8 My grammer error
One of my biggest grammar errors in writing is figuring out where to put commas. I seem have to developed a habit in my writing to forgot to have pauses in my sentences. I also do not know when to use semicolons. One more problem with my writing is my choice of words.
Blog Post #7 Personal Assistant
If I were to chose a personal assistant for me for a week I would choose Steve Jobs. My reasons for choosing him are because he is very intelligent, and could share some of his knowledge with me. Another reason is that he is very rich and Steve could loan me some money to me if I needed it. While staying with me for the whole week I would get to know Steve Jobs better than what I thought about him already. During the week the type of projects I would have Steve work on would be new technological advances for the world! An example could be a new iphone with ten times more features than the iphone 4S. Or a new ipod which allows more space for songs.
Blog Post #6 Alternative ending to Romeo and Juliet
Well we all know that the original ending of Romeo and Juliet leads to their deaths. However here’s my alternative ending to Romeo and Juliet. As Romeo reaches Juliet at her death bed ready to die with her Friar Lawrence yells “Don’t do it Romeo!” He quickly snatches the poison from Romeo and shakes Juliet to wake up. As Juliet arises Romeo is overcome with excitement and so much confusion that he faints. Friar Lawrence picks up Romeo and him and juliet start to head for the woods. A couple of hours pass by and Romeo awakes with a terrible headache. Friar Lawrence soon explains what had all happened. Romeo looks up at the sky with astonishment and asks ” So are we able to live together in peace?” Friar Lawrence gives a sigh and says “Unfortunately that is not possible since you are being hunted down by the police”.
After another hour they set out again but in just a couple of minutes the prince comes in a helicoptor shouting “Romeo you are under arrest for returning to the city.” Then the chase begins with Friar Lawrence behind them, unfortunately the prince drops in the SWAT team to capture the friar. Then its only Juliet and Romeo, overtaken with fear they panic running helplessly into the woods. As they stop to rest they hear a hissing noise, at first Romeo wonders what it is but he soon finds out when he see’s a dart piercing the back of her neck. Right before she faints she screams “Run Romeo!” Romeo dashes out of the area but not before long before a black figure hits him and knocks him out. When Romeo wakes up he finds himself in jail with Friar Lawrence and Juliet outside the cell. Juliet explains to Roemo what how they got caught and were immediately sentenced for life. Juliet says that she would visit him everyday and that their families had made peace with each other.
Blog Post #5 Magical Dust
If I had ever been given magical dust that would age me immediately I would not breathe it in, mainly because I want to fully enjoy my life. I have no intention of becoming older faster, I would like to experience all the accomplishments and failures in my life. From consequences i can learn how to better improve myself so that i won’t make the same mistake again. If I ever did breathe in the magical dust the most I would want to be older would be by ten years. There are good things that could come from becoming older. One is bigger responsibilities to take one.
Another advantage for being older would be that I would have more trust with people just because I’m more mature. Other benefites could be that I’m my own person now I can do whatever I want too. Of course there re always consequences to being older too, some are that I lose much of that free time I had when I was younger. Going back to having bigger responsibilities means working harder to get the job done right. I cannot have people lose faith in me, I have to keep up with the promises I make with people . Along with being my own person I have to use time wisely and have control over myself whenever I am tempted to do something that would not benefit me in any way.
As for what my occupation is in ten years I have no idea. I love to play basketball and I’m interested in learning about the world so it seems those are two options for me, but it all depends on what paths become opened for me and what I choose when i get older. Also in ten years how am I the same and different? Well I’m pretty sure I will keep my upbeat and humorous attitude no matter what situation I’m placed in. I will also still keep my love of basketball with me too. The ways I could change would most likely be my viewpoints on how I see things in the world or within myself.
Blog Post #4 Most pleasant childhood memory
My most pleasant memory would most likely be when I went to the circus with my dad and two kids who were also family friends with us. I remember that we had bought hotdogs, popcorn, and cotton candy and other sweets. We took our seats far up in the tent and then all the lights dimmed, there was a drumroll and all of a sudden a bright beam of light shot down on the ringmaster. He walked to his stand and shouted “Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the amazing circus our first act will be a daring act of tight rope walking.” The acts continued on with dangerous leaps and taming vicious animals, others involved clowns that made me laugh until it hurt to laugh. Act came act and the show never seemed to be close to an end and neither was the joy of being there. After the show I got a toy sword to play with, and as we were driving back home that night I knew this would be a night to remember forever.
Blog post #3 which three would you invite to dinner?
Well if i had to choose who I would want to invite to dinner I would say Derrick Rose, Joe Johnson, and Steve Carell. Since I love basketball Derrick Rose and Joe Johnson are two major role models for me and because they are one of my favorite players in the NBA. I’m also a big fan of Steve Carell since he is probably the most hilarious actor I’ve ever seen. He knows how to lighten up the mood and make everything seem better. I think they would all get along at dinner just fine. There could be a little rivalry between Derrick Rose and Joe Johnson since they are highly regarded as NBA stars, so they might play a quick game to see who is better. Of course if things start to get tense i have Steve Carell to lighten up the tense atmosphere. Overall though the dinner would be amazing and a lifetime memory for me to share with others.
Save Our World (SOW)
Many people ask what’s the biggest problem in our world. I say that poverty is the the biggest facing our generation. I have been sent out to the world by the British Intelligence to find solutions to this problem. As you can see poverty has already torn our world apart in ways we didn’t notice. I will soon show how we must solve this problem.
Tactics that have been used are church missionaries sent to third world countries to help shelter and feed children, families, etc. Non profit companies create commercials asking people to donate a small amount money so it can help feed a child and his her or family. Companies will also use celebrities to gain advantage of the people watching the commercial to be generous because celebrity is doing it. These kinds of measures dont really have much of an effect on the public. This is because most people are just too lazy to go through the whole process of donating the money. Others don’t care just because to them its another commercial interrupting their program.
My solution to this dilemma is to create a cooperation called Stopping World Poverty (SWP). This foundation is a world wide operation that will place operatives on each continent, instead of placing them all in one specific place like other companies. Of course, I will need billions of dollars to get the organization started. The people i will need to execute my plan would one be the public and two entrepreneurs and big businessmen who could support me and my cause. My first step would be to gather support and start small with just enough so then i can soon grow and expand the company. Then, as my company grows, more people will go on missionaries to help the third world countries. On each continent, i can increase my support by finding other entrepreneurs or big businessmen who will unite with my company and make this project successful and powerful.
My chances of succeeding and expanding my cooperation is quite low. 1: the world is just too big of a place to actually make a dent in poverty, 2: there will always be people who don’t agree with me, won’t help, or give my cooperation a chance. I will measure my success based on support for the cooperation, the productivity of my work, and the success of reducing poverty in third world countries. Of course, nothing is ever perfect in life so everything will always have to be monitored. Funding will always be available to the cooperation if there is a lot of support. As for the work, more support will equal more progression to decrease poverty.
